Below is the  client requirement for MSBI QA TestLead @ Dulles VA.

Role: QA MSBI QA Test Lead

Location: Dulles VA

Duration:12 months+

Overall 10+ years of successfulData Warehouse and/or Business Intelligence (Any BI platform MSBI/OBIEE/SAP-BI)testing experience with large scale data systems

·      Must have 5+ years of QA experience in Microsoft BusinessIntelligence & Power BI testing, automation experience is a plus

·      Must have goodexperience working as a QA lead for BI projects (Not just in Power BI space butalso in EDW testing)

·      Must have experienceworking with one or more of these BI automation tools: ETL Validator, QuerySurge, iCEDQ

·      Experience working with various Microsoft BI and Power BItools – SSIS, SSAS, and SSRS

·      Experience in writing complex SQL statements and deepunderstanding of various SQL stored procedures

·      Hands on experience testing ETL jobs and business andtransformation logic

·      Thorough understanding of data warehouse and BI conceptsincluding data modeling, multi-dimensional cubes, scripting knowledge ofMDX/DAX is a plus

·      Strong troubleshooting and fist-level debugging skills

·      Knowledge on basic Linux/Unix commands

·      Experience with all phase of SDLC and modern deliverymodels Agile and Scrum

·      Hands on experience with one or more test management toolssuch as HP-ALM, qTest, MSTM etc.

·      Good experience on one or more scripting languages such asVBScript, Shell Scripting and/or Python

·      Hands on experience using JIRA and/or other process toolssuch as Agile Manager, Service Now etc.

·      Good experience in test planning, test strategy, testmethodology, scope analysis, test assessment, effort estimation, root causeanalysis, best practices and test closure reports etc.

·      Good in System, Functional, SIT, Integration & UATtesting

·      Experience with managing onshore/offshore delivery andresources

·      Highly motivated and resourceful self-starter with apositive, team-focused attitude
