Security Analyst II

Duration: 6 month contract to hire
Location: Chandler, AZ

Summary/Objective:
Responsible for the design, development, implementation, documentation andmaintenance of effective network/security systems to meet customer andstrategic goals. Develop network/security standards, operating procedures, andSOX controls for IT staff and customers.

Essential Functions:

·                    Work with IT staff and customers to analyze andsolve business problems using network/security solutions. Work on complex and highimpact issues. Understands business objectives and problems, identifiesalternative solutions, performs feasibility studies, cost/benefit analysis andsuggests the best course of action.

·                    Provide problem resolution of reportednetwork/security issues reported via IT team members, automated notifications,and IT Request system in compliance with applicable SLA (Service LevelAgreement). Provide support to junior staff members who cannot find resolutionsto openissues.                 

Required Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree
• 5 years in an IT area with expertise gained in network/security hardware, software, and systems, to include project management, design methods, and driving for results
• Team Project Management
• Technical writing for internal/external department use
• Formal problem-solving training and application to IT issues
• Customer focus through training or experience
• In-depth process documentation and review
• Time management and effective multi-tasking
• Negotiating with peers and customers
• 3-5 Years' experience managing enterprise level firewalls and perimeter networking technologies such as Checkpoint, Cisco ASA, Kemp Load balancers, Pulse Secure
• 3-5 Years' experience Threat Mitigation using enterprise SIEM and AV tools
• 3-5 Years' experience performing internal vulnerability assessments and performing remediation activities
• 1-2 years' experience designing and securing public cloud infrastructure (O365, Azure, AWS)
• 1-2 years' experience designing and managing a Public Key Infrastructure
• Throughout knowledge of security frameworks and standards (NIST 800-53, 800-171, ISO27001)

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or MIS
• CISSP or GIAC-GCED certifications

This position is a 6 month Contract to Hire with the client.
