Job description Client seeks a Quality Assurance (QA) engineer who will ensure high quality and optimal consumer experience across a range of web and mobile content and commerce products. QA engineer responsibilities will include collaborating within the technology team to design and implement automated tests, debug errors, and define corrective actions, as well as serving as a resource to editorial, marketing, and web-production stakeholders in a fast-paced publishing environment. The role will involve both manual and automated QA. Our ideal candidate will proactively take ownership around software deployments, publication deadlines, and new product development to ensure that all run smoothly and provide a high-end consumer experience. Responsibilities Collaborate in the product and technology design processes, providing meaningful feedback and proactively developing testing strategies Support users (many of them non-engineering) Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases Estimate, prioritize, plan, develop, and execute manual and automated testing Identify and document bugs, investigate their causes, and support colleagues to implement solutions Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs Establish and monitor QA KPIs Learn constantly, staying up to date with testing tools and methods as well as general trends in technology, web software development, ecommerce
