JobDescription:

• SeniorOracle SME (8+ years’ experience), who will provide high quality technology solutionsthat address business needs by supporting application development team for SQLtuning, Guidance on best practices for SQL coding and perform reviews anddocumentation. This role will participate in software development and supportefforts for large banking and financial applications using Oracle 10g/11gdatabases.

• ·        “SUPERIOR”level Performance Tuning & Troubleshooting skills.
  
• ·        Proficiencyin diagnosing performance issues across application tiers
  
• ·        PL/SQLdevelopment experience of all types of SQL DML statements – functions, storedprocs, triggers etc.
  
• ·        ProactiveCode Reviews and follow-ups to communicate best practices.
  
• ·        Willbe a part of the Oracle Team supporting a wide array of application developmentteams developing custom n-tier applications.
  
• ·        Shouldhave experience & ability to work with various teams to resolve performanceissues
  
• ·        Understandand recommend industry best practices and standards
  
• ·        GoldenGateis HUGE PLUS but not a disqualifying skill.
  

MandatorySkills:

• ·        VeryStrong database development experience using Oracle 11g/10g.
  
• ·        Expertin SQL & PL/SQL modules such as packages, procedures, functions and otherdatabase objects.
  
• ·        Expertin Performance Tuning of application code at the database level.
  
• ·        Experiencein Unix/Linux and Shell scripting.
  
• ·        GoodKnowledge of DBA skills using Oracle 11g/10g.
  
• ·        GoodKnowledge of Data Modeling Concepts using Relational / Object Models andtechniques.
  
• ·        Excellentoral/written communication.
  

OptionalSkills:

• ·        Huge Plus – Not mandatory – Any experience inOracle Goldengate / Data Guard Replication Configuration & Troubleshootingand Working closely with Global Support DBA teams in addressing the dataissues.
