Investor Relations Associate

Purpose:

The purpose of an Investor Relations Associate is toadminister investor activity for fund clients. This includes ensuring timelyand accurate processing of investor transactions and effective communication ofthe transactions to the fund client.

Primary Responsibilities:

Act as main contact for fund investors and managers viaemail and telephone correspondence.

Process investor subscription and redemption activity inaccordance with the fund’s offering documents and anti-money laundering (AML)requirements.

Communicate pending transactions to fund management asrequired.

Prepare and validate investor statements to fund accountinginformation.

Prepare distribution of investor statements, letters andmiscellaneous documents in accordance with investor and fund managementinstructions.

Ensure distribution information is up to date and compliantin accordance with investor and fund management instructions.

Prepare wire transfer instructions in accordance withinvestor and/or fund management instructions through various Internet bankingplatforms.

Confirm expected cash activity was processed by the bank andcommunicated to fund accounting and/or fund management.

Comply with department policies and procedures forprocessing of above activities.

Participate in system and process enhancement.

Perform other related duties as assigned by departmentmanagement.

Position Requirements:

Minimum 3 years’ experience in Hedge/Private Equity Fundadministration and/or Investor/Shareholder services

Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience.

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office product suite,specifically Excel

Experience in the financial services is a plus.

Knowledge of Anti-Money Laundering and KYC procedures is aplus.

Overtime may be required to meet Client and Departmentdeliverables

Strong Communication skills both oral and written

Excellent interpersonal skills and customer serviceorientation

Ability to work in a demanding environment and adjust tomultiple demands; shifting priorities; ambiguity and rapid change

4year degree and some experience - intern in finance or banking
