Education and Experience:
High school diploma orgeneral education degree (GED) required.
Bachelor’s degree inelectrical, mechanical or chemical engineering is preferred.
Minimum of two years ofrelated experience and/or training.
Associates degree preferredin scientific field of study preferred or equivalent related work experience.
Five years relevant fieldexperience in laboratory and / or manufacturing pharmaceutical or equivalentregulated environments required. Knowledge of analytical instrument maintenanceand / or laboratory technical services. applicable regulatory guidelines andaudit experience.
Previous supervisory experience

Demonstrable skills inanalytical instrument maintenance and / or laboratory technical services.
Responsibilities:
Supervises the day-to-dayservice solutions of an assigned team and/or sub-contractors to ensure servicesare delivered in a safe, compliant, and timely manner within budget.
Essential Duties AndResponsibilities: Supervises, plans,directs, and schedules day-to-day and long-range activities for defined PharmaServices scope, and ensures all programs and procedures of the Pharma Servicesstaff are being properly implemented. Reviews work to ensure compliance withperformance, safety, statutory, and regulatory requirements, as well as withall company policies, standards, and procedures. Reviews and updates LIS equipment,maintenance and calibration procedures, and LTS (Laboratory Technical Services)procedures. Processes performance metrics; tracks, analyzes, and reportsperformance in terms of quality, safety, cost, and customer satisfaction. Takescorrective action to bring about required change and ensures contractrequirements have been executed at a level above the specified standards.Manages contractor specifications, problems/issues, performance, andadministration. Ensures supply of spare parts and consumables for in-scopePharma Services. Performs other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities: Provides formal supervision to individual employeeswithin single functional or operational area. Recommends staff recruitment,selection, promotion, advancement, corrective action and termination. Plans andmonitors appropriate staffing levels and utilization of labor, includingovertime.
Prepares and deliversperformance appraisal for staff.
Mentors and coaches teammembers to further develop competencies. Leads by example and models behaviorsthat are consistent with the company's values.
