Job Title : SoftwareApplication Developer/Analyst – IV

Location : Irving-TX,Cary NC and Philadelphia

Duration : 6 Months

Description:

Systems Engineer /Administrator to provide support ofcomplex systems running different servers’ Operating systems. 10+ year’sprogressive, technical, job-related experience. Responsible for planning,designing, and implementing of 3rd party EMS (Element Management Systems)applications for XO. T&M must be able to function with limited directionand guidance and be able to diagnose a wide variety of problems. T&M mustpossess excellent customer relation and communication skills. Must be able toaccurately assess problems and if necessary communicate the problem informationto peers, support group and HW/OS vendors. T&M must be able to work in ateam environment demonstrate leadership skills, follow established businessprocesses and procedures.

Tasks and Responsibilities are not limited to:

• Lead/participate in all planning, design, implementationand support discussions.

• Conduct OSS installation upgrades and patches.

• Conduct application packaged and scheduled releases.

• Active Directory Management

• GPO Management

• Tech refreshes and security related tasks for EMSsupported platforms.

• Problem Management (break/fix), Change Management, PatchManagement, Asset Management

• Security Management (customize GPO for security settings,Symantec endpoint Protection, work compliance issues as the come up; firewallsetup, virus and other security-related remediation activities)

• Remediate and ensure applications’ operation is notimpacted.

• Overall day to day Systems and Application administration.

• Install vendor-developed applications in the VCP (VerizonCloud Platform) according to supplied procedures and work with the applicationvendors to implement automation.
