Role : Temporary CRM Specialist
Location: Durham, NC

  • Account abilitiesParticipate in ongoing CRM enhancement projects, help to identify areas for improvement and growth in the CRM platform.Work alongside the IT team, business partners and stakeholders to ensure CRM enhancements and configurations support the business requirements.
  • Serve as the specialist for data housed in CRM, which may include enrichment of existing data.Create and maintain manual and detailed set of instructions and system configuration, flowcharts, and other documentation as needed for the CRM systemProvide CRM updates, tips, tricks, etc.
  • At various Sales Communications meetings, events and updatesManage day-to-day support and troubleshooting in collaboration with end users of sales technology platforms.Collaborate with IT staff to set-up and manage users, roles, views.
  • Provide direct how-to assistance when users have specific questions about CRM utilization.
  • Monitor CRM usage, provide regular analysis of utilization and highlight adoption issues to managementmake recommendations for system or process improvementsCollaborate with BU leadership and IT staff to manage regular system maintenance and help identify & drive improvements to CRM and data governance strategies.
  • Drive general approach and execution of data cleansing efforts, in collaboration with users and developers.Manage the change process in collaboration with BU leadership and IT staff for effective prioritization of all change requests, system alterations and customization.
  • Responsible for development of user-requested reports, dashboards, views, new data fields. Understand and proactively manage downstream implications of changes to any of these items.Coordinate with IT staff on the testing, upgrades and configuration of system files and services.
  • Assist in the technical roll out of future enhancementsEnter and update Accounts, Contacts, Leads, and Opportunities records.
  • Load conference, trade show and other Lead lists.Transfer ownership of records.Research larger companies and update Account hierarchies.
  • Research company pipelines and identify sales-ready Leads.Run regular reports for quality control and to identify data discrepancies across the system.Maintain large Contacts directory.Perform research and use third-party tools to identify discrepancies and update records.Update training documentation and other support materials.Build a range of system reports and provide to targeted groups/personnel.
  • Publish routine Campaign reports for Sales and Marketing team.Coordinate training for new users.Work closely with Inside Sales to review metrics and evaluate Lead quality and the status of follow-up activities.
  • Applied Knowledge & SkillsMust have experience using Sales Force.
  • High attention to detail, and data-friendly attributes to ensure programs launch and run effectively.Ability to agree and know when to push back to protect the integrity and quality of the data.Subject matter expert when it comes to how the system and related CRM applications can and should be used across the entire Customer Life Cycle.
  • Use of independent judgement in determining work flow and priorities, the ability to be process or task driven, which methods and procedures to undertake new assignments, and organizational ability to coordinate activities of other personnel.Demonstrates in-depth knowledge of organization and relationships (formal and informal).

Education:
  • Bachelors Degree or its International Equivalent in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or Related Field.
  • ExperienceTypically requires a minimum of 3 - 5 years clinical industry experience.
  • At least 3 years sales operations experience, including processes, reporting or data curation.
  • Experience in CRO and/or pharmaceutical business development preferred.
  • Experience working in a cross functional team environment and facilitating meetings to garner input.
  • Requires a solid background in CRM cloud systems (or directly relevant experience), meticulous attention to detail, and excellent interpersonal skills.
