The Construction Project Superintendent must have 5-10+ years progressive field experience within the Bay Area in technical construction projects, with specific healthcare construction experience (MOBs & OSHPD).
This person will be responsible (with the Project Manager) for the overall success of multiple midsize healthcare projects in existing facilities or a large ground up healthcare project.
The Superintendent is a key participant in training employees and promoting company policy and procedures while providing the core leadership required to guide the project team and subcontractors to success.

The Superintendent is a key participant in training employees and promoting company policy and procedures while providing the core leadership required to guide the project team and subcontractors to success.
Responsibilities for this position include the following:
- Supports the proposal effort on healthcare project pursuits with project approach and logistic strategies along with project schedules.
- Supports and participates with project pursuit presentations.
- Provides leadership in training PS, Foreman and Field Crews on company procedures and construction methods and actively participates in the improvement of Construction.
- Prepares and updates Precon and Construction Master Schedules.
- Leads the Construct ability Review process during each phase of the design process.
- Prepares and Implements Job Site Specific Safety and Quality Programs.
- Actively participates and chairs the OAC meetings.
- Constantly measures the performance of subcontractors and implements strategies to eliminate claims.
- Manages project cost and schedule and forecasts labor, material & equipment on a monthly basis.
- Conducts Pre-Task meetings with all critical trades prior to commencing field work. Always promotes the highest level of professionalism and ethics.
Requirements for this position include the following:
- 5-10+ years of experience with technical Healthcare projects (MOBs & OSHPD) in the Bay Area.
- Bachelor's degree with a preference in Construction Management is desirable.
- Negotiated, customer- service based project delivery.
- Strong skill set as a builder and in project management, with solid record of success.
