Job Description:
Duties:
As a Software Developer,your primary role will be development for an internal, open-source project thatwill assist teams with adoption of various shared services. You will work dailywith a Sr. Software Engineer and a Sr. Systems Engineer to help keep youaligned with requirements and ensure you are building the software accordingly.
Required Skills:
Basic to intermediateunderstanding of Python or similar object-oriented programming language(s).
Basic understanding ofsoftware development lifecycle principles.
Basic understanding ofautomated software testing.
Basic understanding ofJenkins or similar tools.
Basic understanding of Gitor other software management platforms.
Basic understanding ofLinux operating systems.
Able to work well in, andadapt to, a fast-paced environment.
Able to communicate andwork well with others.
Able to come up withcreative solutions to solve challenging problems.
Desired Skills:
Basic understanding ofcomputer networking a plus.
Experience with Jira aplus.
Education:
Bachelor's degree inComputer Science, Software Engineering or similar technical field a plus.
