What you’ll do:

Work in a fast-paced agile driven extreme programming environment withfocus on test driven development and CI/CD

Provide technical/architectural solutions to the team for solving complexbusiness problems

Translate documented requirements/stories from Rally into object orientedpattern based code in Java, Spring framework

Solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables insituations where only limited standardization exists

Ability to guide and mentor junior developers on various tasks

Define/improve SDLC processes and procedures

Maintain and support existing systems and services

What an ideal Developer possesses:

4-year college degree or equivalent experience, Bachelor of Sciencepreferred with 5+ years professional Development experience. Master’s degree isa plus; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Java / J2EE object oriented pattern based development experience or otherOO languages & concepts

Experience with XML/XSD, JSON, SOAP UI, UML, Eclipse, Jenkins, IntelliJ,Gitlab; Experience with cloud based technologies, preferably AWS

Experience with leading and delivering projects in agile environmentusing SCRUM/XP methodologies; Strong Desire to learn with a “can do”attitude

Experience working on open source frameworks like Spring Batch, Cloud,MVC and Spring Boot

Experience guiding and mentoring junior developers

Experience defining and improving SDLC processes

Prior webservices development experience with SOAP or REST services is aplus; Hadoop,

No SQL / Big Data experience and or Kafka are all nice to haves; PL SQLDeveloper, Oracle / SQL Server, NoSQL databases
