Role:Hyperion Administrator [6 Months]
Location:Manchester, CT
SummaryHyperion Planning/Essbase administrator working with both the Accounting and Finance teams to consolidate monthly financial forecast and reporting.
Support annual and long-range planning process. Assist in various management presentation and ad hoc projects.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities:
Support Hyperion Planning/Essbase programAid sites in month end closing & Hyperion related activitiesPrepare monthly financial reporting and variance analysis for senior managementAssist in quarterly Board of Directors and various management presentations.
Track and analyze site financial and operational performanceSupport annual and long-range planning activitiesParticipate in continuous process improvement initiativesPerform ad hoc requests as requestedSupervisory Responsibilities This job has no direct supervisory responsibilities.
Qualifications**EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE** :
Hyperion Planning system administration knowledge requiredBachelor's degree in accounting , finance, IT or related business degreesMust have 3+ years of relevant accounting/financial planning & analysis experience or related experienceMust have manufacturing experienceStrong knowledge of MS Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPointTravel will be required on an as needed basis.

Strong problem solving & analytical skills; attention to detailsAbility to plan and organize/prioritize responsibilitiesAbility to work independentlyDemonstrated ability to influence without authorityAbility to work with cross functional teams to achieve business objectivesStrong verbal and written communication skillsExcellent interpersonal skills.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read and interpret financial and accounting documents and reportsAbility to write routine reports and correspondence.Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram forms.Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
