Minimumof five years of design and implementation experience in IT, with a deepknowledge in: Cisco compute products & cloud infrastructure technologiesand tools, CASB vendor, infrastructure as code modeling, advanced networking,SAN Engineering.

4+years' experience as an IT Infrastructure Architect, with focus on Azure,cloud, server, storage and networking.

3+years' experience with MS Server Operating Systems

3+years' experience with MS SQL, Sharepoint and .NET

Engineeringand or computer science degree from an accredited institution.

Responsibilities:

Responsiblefor designing and implementing enterprise infrastructure and platforms requiredfor cloud computing. Deep understanding of system development and migrationplanning in cloud environments, including Software as Service (SaaS), Platformas Service (PaaS), or Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS).

Provideleadership in infrastructure migration methodologies and techniques includingmass application movements into the cloud including implementation of Azure,Google or AWS. Ideally within  large regulated enterprise environments.

Establishcompute and SAN expertise internally and externally to drive Cloud Adoption.

Leadthe analysis of the current environments to identify critical deficiencies andrecommend solutions for improvement. Scope of work includes evaluating computeand associated storage architectures to optimize end user performance intoglobal applications.

Collaboratewith technology and business support peers (Operations, PMO, InformationSecurity) to enable change in platform systems with the goal of achieving morecapable and cost effective solutions.

Understandnew and emerging technologies to enable advanced compute (onpremise    and off premise) architectures.

Coach,mentor and collaborate with technical subject matter experts and peers topropose and deploy primary and DR services that enable and drive enhancedbusiness capabilities and operating models.

Overseeand evaluate best-of-breed hardware, software compute technologies and tools.

Assistwith designing the governance, assurance and standards activities associatedwith ensuring enterprise technology architecture compliance.

Overseecritical technology implementations for cloud and third party connectivitysolutions. Consult on infrastructure development projects to harmonize systemswhen necessary to modify the enterprise technical architecture (ETA) toaccommodate project needs.

Developbudgets and hardware/software ordering specifications.  Analyze vendorcosts and develop infrastructure ROI as appropriate in support of budgetactivities.
