Minimum Requirements:
Years Skills/Experience
5 Experience within HHS system (or other large healthcare or insurance entity)as a business analyst
5 SharePoint expertise and ability to make design changes to SharePoint sites
5 Proven ability to work successfully with technical and non-technical groups,and manage multiple responsibilities
4 Bachelor’s Degree with major course work required in business contracts forIT, health care/health information technology and stakeholder communications orEnglish/ Writing and /or equivalent experience/education in a related field.
Strong Communication, analytical and interpersonal skills at all levels
Strong Ability to work on multiple projects or project assignments

3 Experience facilitating productive meetings to formulate businessrequirements and communicate stakeholder needs to technical staff
3 Experience working with full agile system development lifecycle (SDLC)
Experience working with Texas Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS)data and Texas Integrated Eligibility Redesign System (TIERS) a plus
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering or equivalentexperience

The Business MetadataAnalyst position is an Information Technology (IT) position and will be a partof the Enterprise Data Governance (EDG) team working in collaboration with theCenter for Analytics and Decision Support (CADS) program within the Health andHuman Services System’s business domain. The mission of EDG is to ensure HHSsystem data is visible, accessible where appropriate, understandable incontext, trusted by users, and uniformly governed in order to advance dataquality and data analytics. This enables data-driven decision making across theHHS system.

The EDG team hascompleted the establishment of the HHS Data Asset Repository (DAR) and hasloaded the collected business metadata into the HHS Metadata Repository.
