Job description:

• Company is looking for highly motivated individuals with experience in applied mathematics for system optimization (operation research, AI and Machine Learning, statistics), to help company in network design, operation and optimization.
• As a seniors staff engineer, you will work closely with a group of highly talented scientists who have been leading the research efforts on how AI and machine learning can be applied in next generation communication system including 5G on network planning, optimization, and automated network operation through real-world use cases and experiments.
• The candidate will carry out research projects, including key solution algorithm design, modeling and verification.
• You will also help to monitor technology and industrial trends; propose technology strategy and road map to support the decision making of executives.

Description:

• We are looking for a machine learning engineer who can formulate problems and solutions from real-world scenarios, and conduct research, implement and benchmark algorithms.
• Our topics of investigation include modern deep neural network architectures, predictive modeling, and deep reinforcement learning with application to core company business.

Responsibilities:

• Identify key opportunities to apply modern machine learning in company business such as mobile network planning and optimization; initiate new high-impact projects.
• Carry out research and development projects, including key solution and algorithm design and verificationMonitor technology and industrial trends; propose technology strategy and road map to support the decision making of executives .

Requirements:

• PhD in computer science, statistics, electrical engineering, operations research, applied mathematics, or related quantitative disciplineRich knowledge and solid experiences in machine learning, especially deep learning and deep reinforcement learning.
• Solid experience in solving real world problemsHands-on experience in coding and proficient in at least one programming language, such as R, Python, C++, Java, Julia, Lua, etc .
• Expert in at least one of the deep learning platform such as Tensor flow, Torch, MXNet, etc .
• Knowledge in mobile communication systems is a plusStrong communication skills and a team player**Must have authorization to work in US.
