Responsibilities:
Develop system expertise in Sales Pad and GP enterprise solutions.Responsible for development and management of a Share point Intranet solution.
Learn and become primary backup for SQL database development and Sales Pad C# scripting work.
Maintain online projects and issues databases in coordination with vendorsCreate and implement testing routines for application upgradesBring forward suggestions for improvement of systems, network and applications strategy and executionWork with Training and Development Manager in creating training documentation and procedures for all applications .
Maintain documentation for fixes, IT departmental procedures and application developmentField incoming help requests from end users via telephone, email and/or help desk ticket requests; responsible for ticket life cycle from request to documented resolution.
Escalate help desk issues as necessary to vendor or IT Manager.Perform hands-on fixes at the desktop level, including installing and upgrading software, implementing file backups and configuring systems and applications.
Perform related duties consistent with the scope and intent of the position, as directed by the IT Manager
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer Science, Information Systems or related field.
- 4+ years of experience in applications and systems support
- 2+ years of experience in Share point development
- 2+ years of experience with various coding languages; .net, SQL and C# experience a strong plus
- 2+ years of experience with Microsoft Office applications; Office 365 experience a plusStrong applications software support experience, Dynamics GP, Sales Pad experience a plusExperience with Private and/or Public Cloud technologies/administration a plusStrong writing skills with experience in documentation .
- Experience with independently managing projects and delivering results on-time and accurately .
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of managementSuperior organization, planning skills, time management and prioritization with the ability to multi-task and work well under pressure in a dynamic, team environment that spans several businesses which are managed in several locations .
- Must demonstrate maturity in judgement, commitment, dependability, punctuality and adherence to agreed-upon schedule as determined by manager .
