Role:Electrical Engineer
Location:Versailles, OH
Essential/Primary Duties
- Perform routine engineering work requiring application of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria.Make preliminary selections or adaptations of engineering alternatives.
- Analyze system requirements, customer needs, regulatory and standard compliance, device safety, device usability and cost with cost-functional consideration.Design, test and troubleshoot electrical circuits, devices and systems.
- Document descriptions and specifications of hardware and software, including design documents, purchasing specifications, manufacturing documentation, gerber files, bills of materials, test specifications, and test reports.
- Provide technical guidance on standard to moderate problems.Work with cross functional teams including advanced buyers and vendors to select and procure parts and to prototype electrical assemblies.
- Apply the regulatory norms and the recognized or voluntary standards in the functional areas of the assignments.
- Collaborate with other designers and test labs to resolve design issues related to application of standards and other compliance verification in the functional area of assignment.
- Participate in exchanges of knowledge with the members of the engineering group in the functional areas of expertise.
Secondary Duties
- Increase/gain knowledge in other aspects of electronics engineering. Provide guidance among co-ops
EDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or related engineering field required and 2-5 years of experience in a related field preferred.
