This is a critical management position in the E-Commerce division and will have a significant role in the development and execution of the cross-channel growth strategies for Client.
The successful candidate in this position will work in a collaborative way with a variety of key partners:
- The Executive team
- The IT I Systems groups
- The Merchandising groups
- The Finance and Accounting groups
- The Creative and Advertising groups
- Store Management and Operations
- Shipping and Logistics
- Customer Service
- External website functionality and support vendors
- External Analytics vendors
- External Supplier Direct Fulfillment (SDF) vendors
The executive in this position will manage a large staff that is responsible for key elements of the Website and Mobile experience for client's online and retail customers. Those elements are:
â?¢ Content acquisition and quality management
â?¢ Data entry into E-Commerce Administrative, Content Management and Corporate systems
â?¢ Website and Mobile Search and Navigations systems
â?¢ Onsite personalization and personalized product recommendations
â?¢ Onsite promotion development and management that is integrated with Retail promotion management
â?¢ The growth, expansion and integration of Supplier Direct Fulfillment programs
In addition, this executive will manage groups of coworkers that are responsible for communicating EÂ Commerce data and supportive metrics to the Executive team, the Merchandising teams, theEÂ Commerce Marketing and Advertising teams, the Financial team, the IT Development team and the Store Operations and Fulfilment teams.
- Website, E-Commerce and Omni-Channel performance analytics
- Budgeting and Forecasting for the E-commerce division
- IT I Systems coordination
Job Responsibilities
As the V.P. of E-Commerce, this executive will be responsible for the following:
- Daily management of the E-Commerce Merchandising, Content and Promotion teams, the Supplier
- Direct Fulfillment (SDF) team, the Website Support and Analytics teams.
- In concert with the Executive and IT teams, development of Website customer experience and performance improvement strategies. Metrics for success are increased customer conversion, increased repeat traffic, increased sales and an increased return on advertising investments.
- Contribute to the Corporate Omni Channel strategy.
- Integrate the website graphic design, appearance and functionality with the corporate branding strategy.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve content quality and efficiency of managing that content. Work with Merchandising to develop a clear understanding of E-commerce content requirements. With Merchandising, Advertising, Photography and Marketing improve the entire content development and management process.
- Develop and implement new website promotions consistent with Corporate promotional objectives. Ensure consistency with promotional and marketing of all other channels.
- Improve the quality and timeliness of E-Commerce analytics, forecasting and reporting.

- 5 to7 years\' experience in website management and digital marketing for ecommerce sites.
- Business side experience in large website platform, database or content management system projects. Leadership of such projects preferred.
- A thorough understanding of website functionality and CX performance.
- Experience managing several of the following channels, in a product-based ecommerce environment:
- SEO / SEM
- Mobile marketing o Mobile apps
- Site remarketing
- Experience managing and optimizing product and advertising content
- Proficiency with web analytics tools such as Google Analytics or Adobe Omniture Site Catalyst and a proven ability to make business decisions based on data
- Strong technical skills and ability to work with engineers and developers
- Experience in managing/developing ecommerce projects
- Logical, analytical thinker with strong deductive reasoning skills and insatiable curiosity to solve problems using all available resources
- Proven ability to accommodate evolving responsibilities and last minute changes
- Strong verbal and written communication skills as well as interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills
