Supply Chain Manager

Location: New York City, NY

Team Leadership

  • Manage and set daily tasks for direct reports, as well as performance targets and KPIs
  • Promote a culture of positiveness, which embraces feedback and accountability
  • Build Individual development plans for each direct report
  • Assign and execute projects related to department deliverables
  • Manage and set performance, quality control, cost and capacity targets with 3PLs
  • Responsible for managing relationship with 3PL and adherence to SLAs
  • Data Reporting (Start of Shift, Received, End of Shift)
  • Own the collection of all fulfillment metrics on a daily basis
  • Inbound Receiving
  • Put Away
  • Outbound Orders
  • Transfer Orders
  • Aging Orders
  • Same Day Delivery
  • Define and report the exceptions existing within assigned areas
  • Support the projects assigned to resolve exception items and processes

  • Cross Functional Leadership
  • Prioritize competing requests from multiple business units
  • Support continuous improvement and cost optimization projects
  • Educate partners by process mapping, visualizing business impact and required action by all stakeholders
  • Build SLAs for exception area resolution and communication to downstream customers
  • Develop strong relationships with internal and external partners that support team strategy

Basic Qualifications

  • At minimum, a bachelors degree from an accredited university
  • Focus in a quantitative field such as Supply Chain, Engineering, Statistics, Finance, etc. a plus
  • 3+ years of leading teams across multiple departments
  • 3+ years of Operations experience leading teams across multiple locations
  • A love for problem solving, data, process control and standard work
  • Experience with 3PL negotiations, supply chain planning, logistics and fulfillment operations
  • A proven ability to drive increased productivity and service level quality
  • Sound business judgment and decision making, understanding of key cost drivers
  • An ability to influence and manage relationships with team, peers, and senior leaders
  • A continuous improvement mindset â?? thinks critically and analytically
  • Technical expertise â?? solution driven approach to systems and processes
  • Strong team player, mentor, and coach to others
  • Lean Six Sigma certification a plus
  • Experience with high end luxury not required
  • This job can require extensive travel to 3PL facilities, up to 80% as needed with some international travel
