Supply Chain Analyst

Location: Easton, PA

  • Work directly with supply chain team members to interpretrequirements into innovative, trustworthy, and timely analytic solutionsleveraging the data warehouse and Microsoft toolsets.
  • Work with buyers, operations, and/or sales to identify continuousimprovement opportunities as it relates to fill rate, inventory productivity,spoils reduction and reduction of total landed cost.
  • Work cross functionally to develop solutions for strategicplanners to monitor a list of all events (promotions, shows, campaigns, newitems, larger new store customer launches and initial stocking orders).
  • Analyze root causes of inventory issues and provide resolutions.
  • Develop/monitor purchasing planning parameters to maintain highlevels of fulfillment and turns while maintaining customer service levels andcompany inventory/turns goals and analyzing the results
  • Run system queries and reports as needed to ensure work is done correctly
  • Consult on the design and building of intuitive visualizations in BIRST for supply chain team members.
  • Other duties and projects as assigned

Position Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Supply Chain Management or Business Administration or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Three (3) years working in Supply Chain, Operations, or Finance analytics; prior knowledge of standard vendor and supply chain process
  • Must have a proven track record of demonstrating technically based skills, highly proficient with SQL and Excel, including formulas and pivot tables and macros, as well as proficiency with Microsoft SQL server applications. Experience in BI visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Birst, Qlik helpful.
  • Must have strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills. Ability to multi-task, strong attention to detail, self-motivated and a team player
  • Effective planning and organization/work management skills.
