Job Description:
Client is seeking a full-time System Administration Specialist to support the National Air & Space Intelligence Center (NASIC) in Dayton, OH. The System Administrator will be responsible for maintaining multiple networks of various classifications.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform and facilitate hardware, server, and workstation installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and administration on multiple networks at TIER I/TIER II levels (performance of assigned responsibilities requires both individual performance of IT maintenance and administration responsibilities and coordinating actions with enterprise IT resources/teams as necessary); operating environment is primarily Windows
- Apply IT Project Management subject matter expertise to support/facilitate mission-specific IT requirements development, acquisition, integration, maintenance, and configuration management activities; inform government resource and capability management, guide development contractor activities, collaborate with NASIC and community IT and IT operations and architecture management organizations, and create/edit/present technical concepts as necessary
Qualifications
- Top Secret/SCI clearance required
- Bachelor\'s degree required ( information science, information technology, , management information systems, computer science, or related technical discipline); relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of education
- 3-5 years\' experience in IT-related fields, including performance of Windows systems administration
- Certifications related to cybersecurity and/or IT systems/management (DoD 8570 IAT/IAM Level I/II) required
- Knowledge of IT server, client, storage, and network technologies (hardware and software for Windows, Unix, and Linux operating systems) required
- Demonstrated organizational, problem solving, and communication skills (written & oral) to effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders (technical & business) required
- Ability to troubleshoot, assess root cause, and resolve technical issues required
- Self-motivated; able to work independently with minimal daily direction required
- Proficiency with MS Office required
- Ability to support occasional travel required
Desired Qualifications
- Intelligence community cybersecurity and/or IT systems/management experience
- Experience in Red Hat Linux (RHEL) systems administration
- Experience with MS Project, Visio
- Knowledge of enterprise architecture methodologies (Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DODAF), etc.)
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent
- Experience with security regulations and procedures
