Manager, Digital Marketing

Location: Greater New York City Area

Responsibilities:

  • Create strategic media plans to drive ecommerce goals, as well as retail store traffic and conversion
  • Leverage the agencies to develop effective media plans
  • Insure tactical approach and execution is measurable and structured for maximum insight potential
  • Track and monitor performance, providing proactive check-ins when possible
  • Oversee all Digital Marketing reporting and dashboards
  • Adopt a test & learn approach with just about everything, leveraging data to provide rationale and results
  • Streamline reporting received from agencies/vendors and internal sources (such as Adobe Analytics or CRM) to pull together a holistic view into performance
  • Report on all activity, gathering necessary metrics and data points to create insightful recaps
  • Manage the day-to-day workflow of the Performance Digital Marketing program
  • Budget and flight all media on a weekly basis
  • Clearly communicate priorities and information between internal teams and agency partners
  • Activate media and ensure timely, accurate launches and ongoing delivery
  • Capitalize on opportunities, balancing the budget and sales goals to achieve desired ROAS
  • Manage a multi-million dollar budget and continuously scrutinize costs & KPIs to achieve optimal efficiencies
  • Forecast all Marketing Channels down to a weekly level, owning all marketing KPIs that the forecast is modeled off of (Budget, ROAS, CVR, AOV, etc.)
  • Partner with Planning & Allocation teams to align on weekly Forecast KPIs
  • Work with Director in presenting the Marketing Budget to FP&A, knowing the ins and outs of the channels to adopt a point of view into spend decisions
  • Closely partner with relevant counterparts to successfully achieve goals
  • Digital Commerce & Site Merchants to strategize optimal linking and messaging strategies
  • Brand Advertising, Brand Social, and Email Marketing to develop full-funnel strategies and customer journeys
  • Retail Marketing to develop media plans geared at driving customers in store
  • Possess knowledge of store/offline measurement capabilities; surface industry improvements
  • Oversee media/agency invoicing process, ensuring contracts are within budget and accurately accrued for
  • Utilize corporate invoicing platform to review and approve all invoices in a timely manner

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Assist with Audience Planning and Customer Journey building
  • Be the point person for driving the measurement framework
  • Proactively provide data rich recommendations for campaign improvements
  • Manage the digital marketing teams activity calendar which includes promotional support, holiday events, and core brand initiatives/launches (i.e. loyalty, new product launches, etc.)
  • Maintain campaign information within project management software, Opal
  • Partner with Creative and Editorial counterparts to obtain digital assets
  • Assist with briefing in required assets
  • Ensure ad units and copy and optimized for each channel and creative messaging/CTAs are compelling; understand each channel??s unique requirements
  • Lead reporting for Creative and continuously share insights with internal teams
  • Help drive personalized media strategies using data and results as selling points

Required Knowledge & Skills

  • Working knowledge of paid search, shopping engines, display, affiliates, SEO, social media is required
  • Knowledge of data (DMP), CRM (CDP) and analytics platforms is a plus
  • Communication is critical, must be able to exemplify strong oral and written communication skills
  • Comfortable with decision making but know when to escalate decisions/issues to management
  • Time-management and project management skills â?? must be able to juggle workload with high volume of meetings and emails
  • Ability to prioritize responsibilities in line with business objectives?? must be able to quickly adapt to changing projects and priorities
  • Analytical skills, with the ability to build reports and summarize data in meaningful way for the goals of the business
  • Excellent attention to detail and quality assurance capabilities
  • Team-player with excellent relationship-building â?? expect to liaise with multiple departments on a daily basis
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, self-starter environment â?? you lead your own day-to-day and are in charge of your output and productivity

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelors (B.A. or B.S.) from a four-year college or equivalent â?? marketing or related degree preferred
  • 5-7 years of performance marketing experience
  • Mid-Level Excel Skills â?? bonus if you have working knowledge of Adobe Report Builder
  • Direct experience with analytics tools such as Adobe Analytics (Omniture) or Google Analytics
