Job Description
Goal of this project is to replace the current manual process for projectbudget tracking and planning with an integrated electronic application coveringPharmaceutical Client Discovery, and Dev Sciences. A system to integrate datafrom all the required Pharmaceutical Client financial systems into one withdrill down capabilities to the lowest level (source documents e.g. contracts,invoices, ICBs, etc.). Have one system with all financial data (actuals andforecasts) that will allow transparency of data, timeliness of data forstrategic planning and decision making, ease of use for scenario planning atall levels, allow for efficient business processes and meet multiple partnerneeds (Management, Purchasing, Tax, Finance, Project Office, etc.)
Role Description:
The Business System Analyst (BSA) will be accountable for the following workingunder BRM Business System Consultant and Project Manager direction:
• Review and refine business requirements with multiple science groups andensure that all have the same detailed understanding
• Work closely with the Capabilities team SETI that will program the solutionto ensure that business requirements can be realized
• Prepare/help with status report presentation for business and/or IR
Key Skills – Required:
• Minimum 5 to 7 years BSA experience required.
• Experienced in writing requirements for projects in pharmaceutical/healthcarecompanies.
• Experience with working within a R&D and life science group
• Experienced in working with multiple groups and cross functionaldepartments.
• Be able to effectively communicate progress and status of requests to teamleadership,
• Strong team leadership and ability to provide day-to-day task direction toteam members.
• Ability to manage project tasks and deliverables to target dates andtimelines.
• Ability to conduct effective team meetings both onsite and virtual(webex).
• Experienced in managing technology deliverables or documents fromrequirements thru implementation.
• Experienced in managing cross-functional teams including vendors andcontractors.
• Strong communication skills; verbal, written and presentation.
• Increased ability to problem solves issues
• Collaborative, positive, self-motivated, team player.
• Experienced with MS Outlook, Visio, PowerPoint, Word, Excel.
