Job Requirements:

  • Projects include perceptual science experiments, prototype technology evaluations, and novel audiological procedure development.
  • This person will oversee cross-functional projects between Clinical Research and other groups throughout the company.
  • The individual in this role will be responsible for the development of new audiological research initiatives, fostering collaborative relationships with external research groups, and the dissemination of knowledge developed through these efforts throughout R & D and the organization.

  • Direct clinical research activities pertaining, but not limited to, approved corporate projects, projects aligning with audiology research strategy, and competitive information
  • Develop, manage and direct processes and procedures for Clinical Research Serve as a Research liaison to departments throughout
  • Oversee collaborations with external research groups Ensure the work of Clinical Research contributes to the domain knowledge of audiology and the hearing sciences.

Requirements:

  • Education: Ph.D. in Audiology or hearing-related science
  • Extensive experience conducting auditory perception experiments; experience managing/directing an auditory research lab; experience directing audiologists and/or hearing researchers; expertise in acoustics Knowledge of audiological and psychoacoustic instrumentation
  • Understanding of hearing aid technology and fitting systems
  • Significant knowledge of the audiology research literature
