We seek a Senior Solutions Architect (Hybrid IT/Desktop) for our Solutions & Offerings Group.

The successful applicant will understand the complex integration of one or more areas, innovate solutions, operate strategically, understand and apply long-term business goals, influence the development of technical architecture/specifications for internal systems, and provide leadership to the IT organization.

This would include articulating the architectural vision, conceptualising and developing alternative approaches, and validating such approaches against requirements and assumptions.

Main Responsibilities

• Works on pre-sales proposals, including creating architectural designs, pricing, and internal and external documentation.
• Collaborates with and understands business goals and direction, translating to architectural decisions concerning Hybrid IT/Desktop architecture.
• Leads the conceptual design of highly complex systems.
• Consults on multiple platforms' systems integration, compatibility, and scalability issues
• Complies with all standard internal controls and processes. Participates and follows all procedures as Defined. 
• Creates and presents the business case and ROI analysis to senior management.
• Expert knowledge of several disciplines within Hybrid/Desktop in addition to expert knowledge of key technologies such as Active Directory, IAM Services, Mobile Device Management, desktop application packaging, image management (SOE), productivity tools, asset management, and BYOD.
• Depending on the team's workload, is willing to be involved in some projects outside their area of expertise under the direction of the relevant experts.

 Qualifications:

• Minimum 10+ years of IT experience and 2-5 years’ experience as a Hybrid/Desktop Solution Architect.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Statistics, or equivalent education and work experience. Master’s or Ph.D. level degrees would be an advantage.
• Specialty skill set required in any of the following: 1.) Cloud and/or Virtual Environments, 2.) Microsoft Windows Server/Desktop and associated features/protocols 3.) ITIL or TOGAF methodology
• Ability to communicate effectively with Customers and translate how   ’s offerings match their requirements and budget.
• Strong influencing and networking skills
