Bachelor\'s degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance

Minimum of three years in a Finance position or a position involving business-related analytics and problem-solving

Responsibilities

â?¢

The primary responsibility of the Senior Financial Analyst (SFA) is to provide financial and analytical support to the Surgical Strategic Business Unit (SBU)

â?¢

The individual in this role will partner with functional leaders to develop budgets and forecasts for operating expenses and will guide these teams in meeting spending objectives

â?¢

In addition, the SFA will communicate monthly expense performance to SBU leadership and own forecasting and reporting of business unit capital purchases

â?¢

Prepare and analyze monthly SBU functional spending results including communication of variance versus forecast and budget

â?¢

Analyze operating expense to identify variances and provide recommendations to management where there may be areas of improvement

â?¢

Communicate effectively and proactively with internal stakeholders to ensure information is presented logically and consistently

â?¢

Prepare and deliver accurate monthly cost center reports, travel spending reports, and product sample expense reports for various functions within the Surgical business unit

â?¢

Participate in the company\'s forecasting and budgeting processes, including coordination with functional leaders and teams to make updates as needed

â?¢

Become a subject matter expert on our internal reporting systems

â?¢

Identify ways to better leverage system tools to facilitate reporting

â?¢

Provide ad hoc support and analysis of business issues for Surgical SBU business partners as well as the VP Finance, Surgical

â?¢

Ensure appropriate internal controls are maintained and SBU financial statements are following corporate accounting policies and standards

â?¢

Collaborate and cooperate with otvikher Client departments to achieve objectives

â?¢

Research and analyze data to provide a clear, cohesive explanation of business drivers

â?¢

Prioritize tasks to achieve deadlines

â?¢

Tackle ad hoc financial projects as they arise

â?¢

Adherence to and ensure compliance with the Client Code of Ethics, all Company policies, rules, and procedures
