This is a key management role and this individual will be a major stakeholder in driving the direction and building blocks to get  to a billion users. Get  Hotspot Shield application to a billion users, through building a scalable service including client and server software and network infrastructure, that has excellent performance and generates consistent and predictable revenues. As part of the role partner with our Chief Architect to head up our engineering organization of 75 in house engineers (and growing) and enable substantial KPI growth and scale.

 Player/Coach with fresh and current hands-on development experience

10+ years of software development experience

5+ years of leadership experience

Must have experience with responsibility over Production KPIâ??s {service levels, user metrics, revenues}

Start-up experience is a must. 

Experience managing 75+ engineers to deliver products and services to millions of users {B2C} is a must.

Have business sense that would allow you to make priorities that drive user and revenue growth

Must have experience with building, launching, and supporting products that are used globally.

Must have solid understanding of networking, network routing, client-server architecture.

Experience with managing both software development and services is a must {Experience with SAAS}.

- Large scale MySQL and NoSQL Database architecture such as H-Base, MySQL, and Hadoop Eco-system

              - Mastery of the Linux / UNIX operating platform and eco-system

              - Ability to deliver high-performing â??tunedâ? applications with a mix of software requirements, platform capabilities, and hardware specs.

              - Experienced in the QA process to drive both internal and external QA of applications for functionality and security testing.
