• Basic accounting understanding
• Use of MS report builder or any other tool like it

Do you have additional examples of tasks they will be doing on their day to day specifically regarding SQL and report building?

• The person will be required to execute several scripts (already written), but needs to know how to run them and take the necessary steps
• Adjust some of the existing reports based on new needs, not very often but takes time.
• The person may need to extract data for the business as requested, not very often
  

Would this person be the main point of contact for troubleshooting issues regarding Basis?

• Yes, the person will talk to the end users and troubleshoot
• I will be there to support as well so that person will not be alone

Will they interact with the software vendor for escalations?

• Yes, we do have a support contract with the vendor, so they are available for us when we need them.

Can you shed lighter on the need for accounting knowledge?

• Basic understanding, we don't do accounting in Basis but need to identify the revenue, expenses

If they have experience with Rental Software and or TMS it would be great
