Job Description:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Lead multiple user requests/HEAT ticket resolution activities simultaneously, working with internal and external cross-functional groups.
  • Manage SAP systems development or process improvement projects by applying basic project management methodology.
  • Resolves issues related to business use of implemented SAP modules or processes by working with ITBAs, systems or process owners and project teams to find acceptable solutions.
  • Create and provides quality training material for user assistance and system usage.
  • Guides implementation of SAP modules utilizing internal and external IT resources effectively.
  • Works closely with the development team (internal and external) to assure a timely solution according to the specifications and implementation of business needs.
  • Assures quality of business systems by developing and executing test specifications, and implementing test and quality plans, while working with quality assurance team to improve IT quality processes.
  • Work in collaboration with business and other IT staff to translate business requirements into functional specifications.
  • Produce appropriate documentation and actively participate in development of technical and workflow solutions.
  • Provide leadership in working with business subject matter experts, developers, and quality assurance staff to ensure deliverables are met.
  • Mentor other members of the IT team, assisting in the development of analytical skills, business understanding and SAP configuration.
  • Utilizes information systems to improve efficiency and makes recommendations for implementation of new systems or necessary upgrades that will best meet customer and company requirements.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/TRAINING:

  • Bachelors degree in computer science, business or related field plus 5 years experience in Information Technology, or a Masters degree plus 3 years experience in Information Technology.
  • Will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience.
  • Minimum SAP functional experience (with SAP Configuration knowledge) of 3 plus years is required.
  • Experience in SAP Sales & Distribution is a must
  • Must have experience in Order to Cash (OTC) and Order Management
  • Proven understanding of the software development lifecycle and methodologies, as well as the specific requirements for maintaining systems in a regulated environment.
  • Project Management experience required; PMP certification preferred.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:

  • Thorough knowledge of computer technology, systems development, data systems analysis and design
  • Knowledge of general business processes and functions preferable in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to plan, manage projects and activities related to information system.
  • Ability to establish effective interpersonal relations.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to lead and collaborate with outsource offshore consultants on special assignments
